Label: Victory Canada's Grade cranks out unrelenting, frontal-assault punk rock just the way any true rock loyalist from the late 70s would remember it. The guitar licks are powerful, sharp-edged, and churn with fiery anthemic energy. Chris Danner batters the drums as though he's been promised new ones if can adequately destroy the set he presently has, and vocalist Kyle Bishop sings as though he doesn't care if he'll ever sing again. In this way, Grade gives it all away and saves absolutely nothing for later. Under the Radar depicts the emotional wasteland of frustrated love, enigmatic expectations, and ravaged dreams in a most raw and dangerous fashion. This release is introspective, rhythmic and ferocious all at once and makes a thoroughly convincing case for the redemption of punk rock.
