Pinhead Gunpowder was an American punk rock band that formed in East Bay, California, in 1991. The band currently consists of Aaron Cometbus (drums, lyrics), Bill Schneider (bass), Billie Joe Armstrong (guitar, vocals) and Jason White (guitar, vocals). 

Jump Salty is comprised of the "Fahiza" and "Trundle and Spring" singles along with various hard to find tracks that were released on four scattered compilation albums. Even if this record never came out, it would still be worth the time to find all of their releases. 

Pinhead Gunpowder features some of the catchiest pop-punk licks with down to earth storytelling lyrics sung by both Billie Joe Armstrong's crystal clear vocals and Bill Schneider's gruff shouting; they contradict but at the same time they click almost perfectly. 

It's a pity that this isn't a full-time band that tours and releases a new record every year (but then again maybe it's better that way).
