Blurryface (stylized as BLURRYFΛCE) is the fourth studio album by American musical duo Twenty One Pilots.  For the follow-up to 2013’s Vessel, multi-directional pop princes twenty one pilots ramped up everything, from new influences to the number of producers (four) to the metric ton of uncertainties and fears multiplying in frontman/songwriter Tyler Joseph’s cranium. And it’s wonderful. 

It was released on May 17, 2015, through Fueled by Ramen. Like their previous album Vessel (2013), the album takes influence from various genres, including hip hop, rock, pop, reggae and indie. Lyrically, the album incorporates themes of mental health, doubt, and religion. It contains the successful singles "Stressed Out" and "Ride", both of which reached the top-five on the US Billboard Hot 100.

“Don’t trust a perfect person and don’t trust a song that’s flawless,” he warns on the furious reggae/jungle/dubstep hybrid “Lane Boy.” And he’s absolutely right; great art is rarely made by normal people.
